ABOUT KATHERINE

REAL ESTATE AGENT,

ENTREPRENEUR,

COMMUNITY ADVOCATE

Katherine Sutton lives on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast — yes, Mississippi has a coast, and it’s stunning. The white sand beaches offer the perfect backdrop for a quick midday reset or a weekend spent with family and friends. She’s a proud mother to an incredible daughter who serves in the U.S. Armed Forces — and just so happens to be a pilot (a love of heights that definitely did not come from Katherine). When traveling abroad, Germany tops her list of favorite destinations, although her fur babies aren’t exactly thrilled when she’s away.

Katherine is an Associate Broker with Weichert Realtors – Gulf Properties in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she helps clients along the coast buy and sell homes with clarity and care. In addition to her real estate career, Katherine owns and is currently renovating a professional office building on Pass Road in Gulfport, designed specifically to serve nonprofits, caregivers, and mission-driven professionals. The space will soon offer affordable office suites that support her larger goal of community development through purpose-driven entrepreneurship.

BACKGROUND

Her background in marketing and leadership is extensive. She previously served as the Marketing Director for the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum, a celebrated local gem that has received third place in the Sun Herald People’s Choice Awards and ranked in the top 10% of attractions worldwide on TripAdvisor. Katherine is also the Founder and President of LikeMinded Ladies Gulf Coast, a powerhouse women’s network with over 100 members. She helped expand the group into New Orleans, where she played a key role in establishing a mentorship-based sisterhood designed to support women in business and personal growth.

Her early professional experience includes working for PRM Pizza, LLC, the largest Domino’s Pizza franchise in the country, where she spent over two decades as the personal assistant to the company president. She later became a downtown New Orleans entrepreneur as the owner and operator of FroYo Café and Sweets, famously known for creating the King Cake Croissant at the corner of Canal Street and Bourbon.

the heart

But Katherine’s heart beats strongest for community service. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Mississippi Heroes, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to “Celebrate Everyday Family & Professional Caregivers like Heroes.” Inspired by caring for her grandfather until he passed at the age of 100, she launched the organization in his honor — incorporating the Superman theme from his final birthday party into its brand identity. She has also created an online course to help others launch nonprofits that make a difference in their own communities.

Her other nonprofit work includes serving as the event creator for Pink Heart Funds, where she developed their largest annual fundraiser, and working on the launch team for the Heritage Trails Partnership of the Gulf Coast, helping raise awareness and programs around trail connectivity across the region. Katherine maintains active memberships and affiliations with the New Orleans Chamber, Gulf Coast Chamber, Biloxi Bay Chamber, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Attractions Association.

Katherine has received multiple community service awards over the years, but she remains most fulfilled when she’s walking in purpose and contributing to the greater good. Whether she’s negotiating a real estate deal, building a ramp for a caregiver, or creating space for people to grow, her commitment to service is evident in everything she touches.
