Where to begin...

I currently live on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. Yes, Mississippi has a coast and it is a beautiful one at that! The white sand beaches offer warm support on a midday escape from the office or fun-filled weekend with family and friends. I have an amazing daughter who serves our country in the armed forces and get this - she's a pilot! Trust me, she didn't get the love of heights from me... When traveling abroad, I'd have to say that Germany is my favorite place to vacay, hands down! Although, my fur babies don't like it when I am gone.  I am currently an Associate Broker with EXIT Prestige Luxury Realty in the beautiful city of Biloxi and travel the coast helping people buy or sell their home.

I have served as the Marketing Director of the MS Coast Model Railroad Museum, a well-known entity in our area that is growing national attention. The Railroad Museum has achieved 3rd Place in local newspaper’s (Sun Herald) People’s Choice Award for Museums, and achieved a Trip Advisor Rating of Top 10% worldwide for favorite attractions. I am the Founder & President of LIkeMinded Ladies Gulf Coast with over 100 Members. This organization rocks. I also helped to form LikeMinded Ladies in New Orleans, LA, a mentoring and benchmarking group of women utilized to support and grow knowledge. Fun fact: I worked at the largest Domino’s Pizza franchise in the US, PRM Pizza, LLC as a personal assistant to the president for 20+ years.

Previously, I developed, operated, and managed FroYo Café and Sweets in downtown New Orleans at Canal St & Bourbon. I was dubbed the “FroYo” girl and developed the FAMOUS King Cake Croissant. Let me just say, if you have never been to New Orleans, you need to add it to that bucket list we discussed earlier! It is an amazing city with such culture and rich hospitality. In New Orleans, I developed a tight networking system in the city and a great team despite all the challenges of working inner-city.

Nonprofits are the core of my existence. I am the Founder & Executive Director of Mississippi Heroes whose mission is to "Celebrate Everyday Family & Professional Caregivers like Heroes". I took care of my grandfather for 7 years until he passed at the age of 100. His last birthday party, which was 3 days prior to his birthday, was a Superman Theme – an image I have incorporated into my nonprofit. I believe in the benefits a nonprofit gives to its community so much, that I developed an online course with all the how-to on starting one of your own.

Other nonprofit involvement of mine include the Pink Heart Funds where I developed their annual Pink Fundraising Event, their largest fundraiser. For Heritage Trails Partnership of the Gulf Coast I worked on a planning team to get the nonprofit started and helped implement programs to bring about trail connectivity awareness on our Gulf Coast. I am a member or affiliated with the New Orleans Chamber, Gulf Coast Chamber, Biloxi Bay Chamber, MS Gulf Coast Attractions Association.

I’ve received several community service awards over the years, but I cannot stress enough how fulfilling it is to walk in purpose by contributing to the betterment of your community.
